'ia,of Watertr ,,;t.Plant Portal 4 Improvements I Scope of Work • Groundwater monitoring and data reduction assumes 4 site visits. • Field explorations assume two full working days on site. • Geotechnical work products will be provided in a digital format. • Geotechnical subconsultant will have access to the site as necessary to complete borings. • Meetings with geotechnical subconsultant will be conducted virtually on MS Teams and organized by BC. • Approximately 30-percent of the proposed geotechnical budget will cover work associated with slope stability investigation and recommendations. • Conformed documents suitable for construction will be produced under Task 700. • This scope of work does not cover any construction or improvement activities associated with the slope stability analysis. • Amendment 1 budget includes geotechnical fees not covered by the budget reallocation dated December 3, 2021 Meetings • Two site visits by geotechnical subconsultant. • Three 1-hour team meetings to prepare for geotechnical investigations and review the findings. Work Products • Draft geotechnical report for submittal to the City for review and comment. • Final geotechnical report addressing comments from the City and Design team. Task 602 Geotechnical Services During Construction Activities/Approach: Provide geotechnical services during construction. The following section summarizes the geotechnical services during construction scope of work. A full geotechnical scope of work is included as Attachment A. • Testing of native site material for possible use on site. • Observation/testing of footing or compacted aggregate leveling pad for valve vaults. • Sampling, inspection, and testing of backfill for vaults. • Review and respond to RFIs and Submittals. Everett Responsibilities • Provide site access, staffing, and resources to support field work conducted by geotechnical crews. Task Assumptions • Imported backfill is sourced from a single site. • Observation and testingof vault footing will require three partial day site visits. • Two full day site visits for backfill inspection and testing. • Geotechnical scope of work assumes review of 4 RFIs and 4 submittals. • Construction activities associated with the slope stability analysis or slope improvements are not included in this scope of work.
