• Native material acceptance test results. <br /> • Proctor tests for all materials to be compacted. <br /> Task 603 Surveying Services <br /> Activities/Approach: Provide surveying services in support of the Portal 4 Improvements design. <br /> Survey area 1 encompasses the new valve/vault area at the bottom of the slope out to the tree line. <br /> Survey area 2 encompasses the area around the Portal 4 structure up to the hillside and to the top <br /> of the slope. This section summarizes the work to be completed under Task 602. Attachment B <br /> presents the full scope of work for these services. <br /> • Perform topographic field survey <br /> • Provide topographic map of the Portal 4 area within survey areas 1 and 2. This task includes <br /> locating and identifying existing utilities, improvements, man-made features, roadways, <br /> boundaries, critical elevations, existing structures, natural features, and grades within the limits <br /> of work. The field survey shall include enough detail to produce a base map with boundary <br /> information, contours, and other topographic information. <br /> • Establish horizontal and vertical control points based on the project's control system and <br /> information for contract documents including survey points, a basis of bearing, benchmarks for <br /> vertical control, and datum information for development of base mapping <br /> • Provide pothole surveys to located buried transmission lines 2, 3, 4, and the 36-inch diameter <br /> waste line. <br /> • Provide an equation to convert elevations from the 1988 NAVD and the 1929 NGVD datums for <br /> the site to allow for conversion of elevation callouts from older drawing sets. <br /> Everett Responsibilities <br /> • Provide the necessary staffing and resources to support field work conducted by survey crews. <br /> • Provide all available ROW, utility records, and GIS files one (1) week prior to field work. <br /> Task Assumptions <br /> • The survey information will be prepared under the direction of a registered professional land <br /> surveyor. <br /> • Survey will provide NAD-1983 for northing(y) and easting(x) horizontal reference. <br /> • Survey will provide NAVD-1988 for vertical references based on project requirements tied to <br /> local county benchmarks. <br /> • Work products will be provided in a digital format. <br /> • Surveying subconsultant will have access to the site as necessary to complete work. <br /> • Amendment 1 budget includes surveying fees not covered by the December 3, 2021, budget <br /> reallocations. <br /> Meetings <br /> • Two site visits by surveying subconsultant. <br /> Work Products <br /> • Surveyor to provide electronic drawingfiles with surveyor's sign and seal. Electronic deliverables <br /> to include 2D basemap and 3D surface DRM of Portal 4 site. <br /> Task 604 Corrosion Condition Inspection <br /> Activities/Approach: Provide condition inspection services to investigate the corroded steel members <br /> located in the Portal 4 channel. The followingsubconsultant services will be provided by Corrosion <br /> Probe Incorporated (CPI). Attachment C presents these full scope of services. <br /> Page 11 of 13 <br />
