Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> General <br /> 1. The northern building has an Assembly Occupancy on the 4th story. For Type V-A <br /> construction, A-3 Occupancies are not permitted above the 3rd story as shown in Table <br /> 504.4. Note that the calculations for separated vs. non-separated uses does not supersede <br /> the maximums in Table 504.4. Section 504.2 <br /> a. If the space on the 4th story were to be sized such that the occupant load were no <br /> greater than 49,the space would be a Group B Occupancy and would be permitted. <br /> 2. The following comments apply to the allowable area calculations shown on Sheet A015: <br /> a. The allowable area for this non-separated, multi-story building must be based on <br /> the most restrictive allowable areas provided in Table 506.2, which is for A-3 (not <br /> R-2 as shown). Section 508.3.2 <br /> b. The maximum for Sa is 3 per Equation 5-2 in Section 506.2.3 (not 4 as shown). <br /> c. The maximum area for each building is then 129,375 square feet per Equation 5- <br /> 2. <br /> d. The maximum area for any individual story is 43,125 square feet per Equation 5- <br /> 2. <br /> e. Both buildings are within allowable area for total and individual story. <br /> 3. The plans should show the requirements for electric vehicle charging infrastructure as <br /> required by Section 427. <br />
