Section 01 22 20 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> • Furnishing and installing all overhead or building access door systems, , <br /> including specified locking system and appurtenances <br /> • Surface preparation and application of coating systems for all required <br /> building structure interior and exterior surfaces, including metal, wood, <br /> and CMU surfaces <br /> • Adjustment and testing to verify satisfactory operational functions of the <br /> building structure, including access and weatherproofing; and any other <br /> items necessary to complete the Work in conformance with the Contract <br /> Documents. <br /> The cost to haul and furnish CSBC material shall be included in Bid Item <br /> "Crushed Surfacing Top and Base Course." <br /> Bid Item 31. Existing Pump Station Building Seismic Upgrade <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> The lump sum (LS) bid price for"Pump Building Seismic Upgrade" shall <br /> constitute full compensation for all work, labor, materials, tools, equipment, <br /> and incidentals necessary to construct the seismic upgrades complete as <br /> shown on the Plans and specified in the Project Specifications. The bid price <br /> shall include but not be limited to: <br /> • Excavation of all materials of whatever nature encountered <br /> • Excavation and grading (including import CSTC material) to reshape and <br /> finish grade where shown on the Plans and as required by field conditions ' <br /> • Hauling and properly disposing of any excess material, including securing <br /> approved disposal site <br /> • Furnishing, placing, and mechanical compaction of backfill, native or <br /> imported material <br /> • Excavating, furnishing and placing water and drain pipe (including all <br /> fittings, couplings, and spool pipe) for rerouting existing water and drain <br /> lines around new shear wall, furnishing, placing, and compacting native or <br /> import bedding and backfill materials, plugging existing lines to be <br /> abandoned with CDF or concrete as shown on the Plans. The water line <br /> shall be properly flushed and disinfected before being activated. <br /> • Maintenance and restoration of construction area and of other utilities <br /> affected by construction <br /> • Minor demolition of existing elements as needed to construct new building <br /> components. <br /> • Preparation of concrete shearwall and footing materials, formwork, <br /> reinforcement, and required attachments to existing building elements <br /> • Delivery, placing, finishing and quality control of concrete materials and <br /> any other items necessary to complete the Work in conformance with the <br /> Contract Documents <br /> • Surface preparation and application of coating systems for all required <br /> building structure exterior surfaces, including metal, wood, and CMU <br /> surfaces <br /> • Adjustment and testing to verify satisfactory operational functions of the <br /> building structure, including access and weatherproofing; and any other <br /> items necessary to complete the Work in conformance with the Contract <br /> Documents. <br /> Bid Item 32.
