Section 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> C. Acceptance of Bid <br /> 1. Within 60 days after the opening of Bids, the City will act either to accept <br /> the Bid from the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder, or to reject all <br /> Bids. The City reserves the right to request extensions of such Bid <br /> acceptance period. The acceptance of a Bid will be evidenced by a <br /> written Notice of Award of Contract delivered in person or by mail to the <br /> Bidder whose Bid is accepted, together with a request to furnish a <br /> performance and payment bond and evidence of insurance and to <br /> execute the Contract set forth in the Contract Documents. <br /> 2. Bidder has 14 calendar days after receiving the Notice of Award to submit <br /> the following documents to the City: <br /> a. Two (2) executed copies of the Contract. <br /> b. Performance and payment bond per Section 00 72 00 of the <br /> 1 c. Contract Documents. <br /> Certificate of Insurance and additional insured endorsement per, <br /> Section 00 72 00 of the Contract Documents. <br /> 3. A Contract shall not be formed until the Contract Documents are signed <br /> by the Mayor. <br /> 1.14 TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> A. The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified <br /> in Section 00 52 13 -Agreement Form. <br /> 1.15 WAGES <br /> A. All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the <br /> performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person <br /> doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in <br /> RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates may be found online at <br /> http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/. Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such <br /> requirements.
