Section 40 90 00 PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> C. The System Integrator shall configure the fiber optic telemetry connection and set ' <br /> up and test all communications with the City's master SCADA system. <br /> D. The System Integrator shall be responsible for the final design and assembly of 1 <br /> the entire l&C system. The system shall be designed to provide the control <br /> capabilities and functions indicated and implied by the plans and these <br /> specifications and to provide trouble-free operation with minimum maintenance. <br /> The system shall readily enable manual operation of any and all functions in the <br /> event of failure of any one component. <br /> 1.04 REFERENCES <br /> A. All equipment and materials shall conform to the latest revised editions of <br /> applicable standards published by the following organizations: <br /> 1. American National Standards Institute (ANSI). <br /> 2. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). <br /> 3. National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA). <br /> 4. Underwriters' Laboratories (U/L). , <br /> 5. Instrument Society of America (ISA). <br /> B. All electrical equipment and materials, and the design, construction, installation, ' <br /> and application thereof shall comply with all applicable provisions of the National <br /> Electrical Code (NEC), the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and any <br /> applicable Federal, State, and local ordinances, rules and regulations. <br /> C. All materials and equipment specified herein shall within the scope of UL <br /> examination services, be approved by the Underwriter's Laboratories for the <br /> purpose for which they are used and shall bear the UL label. <br /> D. All control panels shall bear a label by UL or by a Washington State Department <br /> of Labor and Industries approved testing agency for the suitability of the <br /> assembled panel. <br /> 1.05 SHOP DRAWINGS ' <br /> A. General Requirements <br /> 1. Arrangement drawings shall be drawn to scale using standard <br /> Architectural or Engineering scales. <br /> 2. Shop drawings shall be provided in pdf format on sheets no larger than ' <br /> 11" X 17". Shop drawings shall include specific product detail such as <br /> rating, size, and number of contacts, etc. Wiring diagrams shall be <br /> included for all components in the system including control equipment <br /> supplied with mechanical devices. <br /> B. The System Integrator shall develop any shop drawings required for design, <br /> fabrication, assembly and installation of the control panels.
