I <br /> Section 40 90 00 PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1 miles from downtown Seattle, the System Integrator shall include in the contract <br /> price the cost to fly 2 engineers round trip to the shop where the panel is built <br /> Iplus an additional $800 for other travel expenses, meals, lodging, etc. <br /> 3.03 STARTUP AND TESTING <br /> 1 A. All components of the control system shall be calibrated by the Manufacturer <br /> after completion of installation. Each component shall be adjusted to be within <br /> the Manufacturer's required range and for the specific application. <br /> IB. Components that cannot be properly calibrated or that are found to exceed the <br /> Manufacturer's specified range or accuracy shall be removed and replaced at no <br /> 1 additional cost to the Owner. <br /> C. The control system shall be placed into operation by the Contractor and System <br /> IIntegrator. <br /> D. All components shall be tested and recorded on check-off forms and shall be <br /> witnessed by the Engineer. <br /> I <br /> 3.04 FIELD TESTING OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM <br /> IA. GENERAL <br /> 1. When the installation is substantially complete, the Contractor shall <br /> I commence field testing of the control system. This shall determine that <br /> all system components connect up correctly to each other so that the <br /> system works as designed. <br /> Il2. Field testing of the control system shall take place in 4 phases. <br /> a. Continuity Testing, <br /> I b. I/O Testing, <br /> c. Program Testing <br /> d. System Validation Testing. <br /> B. CONTINUITY TESTING <br /> I 1. As equipment wiring is completed, the Contractor and Control Systems <br /> Integrator shall perform a continuity test for every control to determine <br /> terminal to terminal continuity and verify all control and signal wiring is <br /> 1 installed in accordance to the Control Systems Integrator's wiring <br /> diagrams. <br /> IC. I/O TESTING <br /> 1. The entire I&C system shall be I/O tested. <br /> I2. Prior to calling for I/O testing the Contractor shall: <br /> a. Complete the continuity testing. <br /> I b.
