I <br /> Section 40 90 00 PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> B. Inspection, Startup, Field Adjustment: The authorized service representative I <br /> shall supervise the following and certify the equipment and controls have been <br /> properly installed, aligned, and readied for operation. <br /> 1. Installation of the equipment. <br /> 2. Inspection, checking, and adjusting the equipment. <br /> 3. Startup and field testing for proper operation. <br /> 4. Performing field adjustments such that the equipment installation and <br /> operation comply with requirements. <br /> C. Instruction of Owner's Personnel: The authorized representative shall instruct <br /> the Owner's personnel in the operation and maintenance of the equipment, <br /> including step by step troubleshooting with test equipment. Instruction shall be <br /> specific to the equipment models provided. Training shall be scheduled a <br /> minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the first session. Training shall include <br /> individual two sessions for 2 shifts of plant personnel (2 hours for each session) <br /> at each pump station. <br /> D. Proposed training materials shall be submitted for review, and comments shall be <br /> incorporated. Training materials shall remain with the trainees. The Owner may <br /> videotape the training for later use with the Owner's personnel. The Hardware <br /> Integrator shall conduct specifically organized training sessions in operation and <br /> maintenance of the control system for personnel employed by the Owner. The <br /> training sessions shall be conducted to educate and train the personnel in <br /> maintenance and operation of all components of the control system. Training I <br /> shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> 1. Preventative maintenance procedures <br /> 2. Trouble-shooting <br /> 3. Calibration <br /> 4. Testing <br /> 5. Replacement of components <br /> 6. Automatic mode operation <br /> 7. Manual mode operation <br /> 3.08 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE DATA <br /> A. The System Integrator shall prepare and assemble detailed operation and <br /> maintenance manuals in accordance with the project general requirements. The <br /> manuals shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> 1. Preventative maintenance procedures <br /> 2. Trouble-shooting <br /> 3. Calibration I <br /> 4.
