Section 01 22 20 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT
<br /> C. The following construction activities and costs shall be considered incidental to
<br /> the Bid Items of the contract and no separate measurement and payment will be
<br /> made:
<br /> 1. Loading, hauling, and properly disposing offsite of demolition, excavation,
<br /> grading, and other discarded materials unless otherwise noted,
<br /> 2. Offsite disposal fees and disposal records, unless otherwise noted,
<br /> 3. Dewatering trenches and excavations (including, but not limited to,
<br /> ' pumping equipment, generators, tanks, filters, discharge permits, and if
<br /> required, water quality treatment and removal of sediment),
<br /> ' 4. Saw cutting asphalt pavements, pipes, concrete, and structures,
<br /> 5. Locating existing buried utilities to determine precise location and depth,
<br /> including potholing,
<br /> 6. Protecting existing utilities and power poles from damage or disturbance,
<br /> including holding power poles and/or paying utility purveyor to hold power
<br /> poles,
<br /> 7. Repair or replacement of utilities damaged by construction activities
<br /> and/or financial reimbursement to affected utility purveyor,
<br /> 8. Furnishing, installing, maintaining, moving, and removing temporary steel
<br /> trench plating,
<br /> 9. Furnishing, placing, maintaining, and removing cold mix asphalt,
<br /> 10. Dust control,
<br /> 11. Stockpiling and covering suitable native material for uses described in the
<br /> specifications and/or plans.
<br /> 12. Soil compaction testing and furnishing test reports,
<br /> 13. Moisture conditioning native soils for reuse on site, at optimum moisture
<br /> content for compaction,
<br /> 14. Watering soils, plants, vegetation, hydroseed,
<br /> 15. Trimming and cleanup,
<br /> 16. Costs for compliance with permit conditions set forth in approved permits,
<br /> 17. Furnishing submittals and manufacturer's certificates of compliance,
<br /> 18. Coordination and notifications with City staff and its agents, Engineer,
<br /> governing agencies, property owners, and all other persons and entities
<br /> participating in, or affected by, construction activities,
<br /> 19. Maintaining continual vehicular access to driveways,
<br /> 20. Furnishing, installing, inspecting, repairing, moving & removing temporary
<br /> fencing and barricades for security and public safety,
<br /> 21. Any additional labor, materials, equipment and incidentals not specifically
<br /> covered under a separate bid item.
