SCOPE OF WORK(continued) <br /> • Project Planning—Document and communicate the scope of work, budget, and schedule as a road map <br /> for the project team. Coordinate project team and issues throughout the project. <br /> • Budget and Schedule Tracking—Track the project budget using Parametrix in-house tools to verify that <br /> progress is keeping pace with spending. <br /> • Bi-weekly team meetings with an issues list to document project design decisions. <br /> • Monthly Progress Reports—Prepare a monthly invoice for services performed by Parametrix. <br /> • Correspondence—Prepare written correspondence as needed to document project management issues <br /> and/or concerns. <br /> Subtask 01-01 —Project Schedule <br /> Approach <br /> The Consultant will develop a project schedule that outlines the key tasks necessary to complete the project and <br /> produce all deliverables. The Client will review the schedule and provide any comments prior to baselining the <br /> schedule. Each month the Consultant will update the progress on the schedule to determine if any work efforts <br /> are delayed that would impact the project critical path. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • Microsoft Project will be used to develop the baseline schedule. <br /> • Consultant will update the MS Project schedule on a monthly basis. <br /> • Schedule review between the Client and the Consultant will occur during the Project Management Team <br /> (PMT) meetings. <br /> • The project schedule will be re-baselined if new tasks are introduced that require schedule updates or if <br /> there is agreement between the Client and Consultant that the schedule requires a new baseline due to <br /> changes in delivery. <br /> • A calendar-based Excel schedule will be developed from the MS Project schedule to manage shorter term <br /> work products. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Draft MS Project Schedule <br /> • Baseline MS Project Schedule <br /> Subtask 01-02— Project Management Plan <br /> Approach <br /> This task involves the development of a Project Management Plan (PMP).The purpose of the PMP is to define <br /> how the project will be delivered and coordinated with Everett and the various scope activities and tasks including <br /> project communications, monitoring and project controls.The project management plan will include: <br /> • Overall project schedule, budget, and Work Breakdown Structure(WBS).This may also include general <br /> administration tasks related to project planning and development. <br /> • Identification of the project team for each task(including organization structure). <br /> • Development of quality assurance/quality control(QA/QC) plan. <br /> 5541844828 <br /> City of Everett July 2021 <br /> US 2/I-5 Interchange Planning Study 2 <br />
