each, to the effect that the said applicant is known to them as a <br /> reliable person, skilled in the business and qualified to receive a <br /> license to perform said work; such license shall continue for the <br /> period of one year unless sooner revoked by the Commissioner of Public <br /> Works. <br /> Section 8. LICENSE FEE, AMOUNT AND CONDITION OF BOND RE- <br /> he person or persons re- <br /> QUIRED. At the time of issuing <br /> ceiving the same shall file in the office of the City Clerk a bond <br /> in the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) with one or more <br /> responsible sureties to be approved by the Commissioner of Public <br /> Works of said city, conditioned that he, or they, will indemnify and <br /> save harmless the City of Everett from all suits, accidents and <br /> v reason of any opening in said <br /> damages consequent therefrom, for or by <br /> street, avenue, alley or highway, and that he or they will pay to <br /> said city any and all damages to such sewers as shall result from <br /> carelessness or want of skill in him or them, or those in his or <br /> their employ, in making any connection with any public or private <br /> sewer which he or they may at any time make or attempt to make, for <br /> any person or persons whomsoever, or for any <br /> other purpose or object <br /> whatsoever, and that he or they will also replace and restore the <br /> street, avenue, alley or highway to as good a state and condition as <br /> at the time of the commencement of said work, to the satisfaction of <br /> the City Engineer, and shall conform in all respects to the rules and <br /> regulations of the City Council and the Commissioner of Public Works. <br /> Sect` g. LICENSE TO BE REVOKED, WHEN. Such license pro- <br /> vided for in Sections 6, 7 and 8 of this ordinance may be revoked by <br /> the Commissioner of Public Works for a violation by <br /> the licensee of <br /> this ordinance, or any part thereof, or for any cause the Commissioner <br /> of Public Works may deem sufficient. <br /> 5. <br />
