Section 10. PERMIT TO CONNECT TO PUBLIC SEWER. Applica- <br /> tions for a permit to connect to a public sewer or to repair, alter <br /> or lower existing connections or side sewers, installing sumps, drains, <br /> catch basins and repair work of any and all kinds pertaining thereto, <br /> except the opening of side sewers by rodding for the removal of ob- <br /> structions in the side sewer line when the same can be removed through <br /> a cleanout installed for that purpose, must state the location of the <br /> sewer, name of the owner of the premises, the number and location of <br /> buildings to be connected and must be accompanied by a permit fee in <br /> accordance with the following schedule: <br /> Initial connection to public sewer $10.00 <br /> Catch basins 10.00 <br /> Repairs to side sewers or laterals 2.50 <br /> Altering existing side sewers or <br /> latera <br /> ls 2.50 <br /> Installation of drains and/or sumps 2.50 <br /> Capping sewers 2.50 <br /> All persons desiring to connect a private sewer to a public <br /> sewer to serve property which has not been charged with the costs of <br /> a local sewer by local improvement district assessment or otherwise <br /> shall pay, in addition to the payment of the $10.00 initial connec- <br /> tion permit fee above provided, any connection charge required by <br /> ordinance of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 11. PLANS TO BE FILED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY <br /> ENGINEER. Before any such permit is granted a plan of the proposed <br /> connections shall be made and presented to the office of the City <br /> Engineer. Said plan shall show the course of the drain from the <br /> connection with the sewer to its terminus within the house, with the <br /> location of all branches, traps and cleanouts to be connected there- <br /> with. If said plan be correct the City Engineer shall endorse his <br />
