OUTLET shall mean a threaded connection in a piping system <br /> -. to which a gas burning appliance is or may be attached. <br /> 20. POINT OF DELIVERY shall mean the junction of the Gas <br /> Company' s meter with the Consumer' s piping.. <br /> SECTION 4 - BOARD OF EX.PLINERS <br /> A Board of Examiners is hereby created and shall consist of the <br /> representative of the Commissioner of Public Works, who shall be <br /> Secretary, the Fire Marshal, and three (3) members to be appointed <br /> by the Commissioner of Public Works and confirmed by the City <br /> Commissioners. One of the appointees shall be a representative of <br /> a gas distributing company, one shall be a practical man engaged in <br /> gas installation, and the third, any competent person. The three <br /> appointed members shall serve for three (3) years, except for the <br /> first term, when one shall be appointed for three (3 ) years , one <br /> for two (2) years, and one for one (1) year. <br /> 1 <br /> SECTION 5 - BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> In order to determine the suitability of alternate materials <br /> and types of construction, and provide for reasonable interpretation <br /> of the provisions of this ordinance , there shall be , and is hereby <br /> created, a Board of Appeals which shall consist of the member of <br /> X the Board of Examiners. The Inspector shall not be a member of the <br /> Board of Appeals . The authorized representative of the Commissioner <br /> of Public Works shall be an ex-officio member and shall act as <br /> Secretary of the Board. The Board shall adopt reasonable rules and <br /> 1 <br /> regulations for conducting its investigations and shall render all <br /> decisions and findings in writing to the Inspector, with a duplicate <br /> cony to the appellant , and may recommend to the City Commissioners <br /> ' such legislation as is consistent therewith. <br /> -4 <br /> I <br />
