Section 6: CITY POUND DEPARTMENT (Sub-division <br /> of Police Department) <br /> The City Pound Department is and shall be a sub-division <br /> of the Police Department as provided by Ordinance No. 3197. <br /> There shall be in the City Pound Department One Pound- <br /> master and One Assistant Pound `aster. <br /> Such officer and assistant, shall perform such duties as <br /> pertain to the nature of their office, and as the Chief of Police <br /> and the Commissioner of Safety shall authorize and direct. <br /> Section 7: POLICE COURT DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be in the Police Court Department the follow- <br /> ing named officer, to-wit: <br /> One Clerk of the Court (part time ) who shall perform <br /> the duties pertaining to his office. <br /> Section 8: PARK DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be in the office of the Park Department the <br /> following named officers and assistants, to-wit: <br /> One Superintendent; One Assistant Superintendent ; One <br /> Foreman; Two Gardeners; One Golf Professional; Two <br /> Utility Laborers ; One Secretary (part time) ; One Zoo- <br /> keeper; One Greenskeeper; and One or more Day Laborers <br /> (part time) . <br /> The Park Department and its superintendent shall be under <br /> the general charge and supervision of the Park Board. The other <br /> assistants, and employees, shall perform such duties as pertain to <br /> the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the <br /> Park Superintendent. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE <br /> Section 9: CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named deputies and assistant - <br /> in the office of the City Clerk, to-wit: <br /> One Deputy City Clerk; One Stenographer; One or more <br /> extra Clerks (part time) ; One Clerk (part time) ; One <br /> License & Tax Accountant. <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies and assis <br /> tants to perform the duties pertaining to the office of the City <br /> Clerk under the authority and direction of the City Clerk. <br /> Section 10: CITY COMMISSIONERS DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named assistants in the City <br /> Commissioners Department, to-wit: <br /> One Stenographer (part time) ; One Relief Stenographer <br /> (part time) . <br /> It shall be the duty of such assistants to perform the <br /> duties pertaining to said department under the direction of the <br /> City Commissioners of the City of Everett. <br /> -2- <br />
