Such officer and assistant shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office, and as the Chief of Police and the Commissioner• of Safety shall authorize and direct. Section 7: POLICE COURT DEPARTMENT: There shall be in th Police Court Department the following named officer-towit: one Clerk of the Court (part time) who shall perform the duties pertain- ing to his office. Section 8: PARK DEPARTMENT: There shall be in the office of the Park Department the following named officers and assistants, to-wit: one Superintendent; one Assistant superintendent; one Fore- man; two Gardeners ; one Golf Professional; two Utility Laborers; one Secretary (part time ) ; one Gookeeper; one Greenskeeper; and one or more Day Laborers (part time) . The Park Department and its Superintendent shall be un- der the general charge and supervision of the Park Board. The other assistants , and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the Park Superintendent. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE Section 9: CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named deputies and assistants in the office of the City Clerk, to-wit: One Deputy City Clerk; one Stenographer; one or more Extra Clerks (part time) ; one Clerk (part time) ; one License inspec- tor ; and one Stenographer-Clerk (part time ) . It shall be the duty of such officers, deputies, and assistants to perform the duties pertaining to the office of the City Clerk under the authority and direction of the City Clerk. Section 10: CITY COMMISSIONERS DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named assistants in the City Commissioners Department, to-wit: one Stenographer (part time) ; one Relief Stenographer (part time) . It shall be the duty of such assistants to perform the duties pertaining to said department under the direction of the City Commissioners of the City of Lverett, Section 11: CITY TREASURER DEPARTMENT: There shall be the following named deputies and assistants in the office of the City Treasurer, to-wit: one Deputy City Treasurer; one Assistant Deputy City Treasurer; one Water Cashier ; one Clerk-Bookkeeper; one Assistant eater Cashier; one Clerk-Stenographer; one Parking-Meter Serviceman; and one Assistant Parking-Meter Serviceman.
