Alternatively, grab bars complying with Section R325.8 <br /> should be shown. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. The project includes removal of interior walls that are presumed to be non-bearing. See <br /> Section 106.1.1 and Chapter 8. The following comments should be addressed: <br /> a. The roof framing over the work area should be shown to verify walls are non-load bearing. <br /> b. A note should be provided in the drawings requiring the contractor to verify wall are non- <br /> loading bearing prior to demolition. <br /> 2. Structural details for the new opening in the exterior wall at the office should be provided. See <br /> Sections R602.3 and R602.7, and Table R602.3(1). <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
