Identification of assumed long lead items <br /> k. Recommended multi-party coordination plan (Design-Builder, City, Water <br /> Purveyors, Snohomish PUD) <br /> I. Concepts for temporary chemical feed systems <br /> m. Concepts for bypassing the CFDS valves, if any <br /> n. Concepts for clearwell access <br /> o. Discussion of disinfection, sanitation, and water quality protection plan <br /> p. Sketches and figures to illustrate design and construction concepts <br /> q. List of anticipated permits <br /> r. Personnel access requirements for below grade vaults <br /> s. Preliminary general, P&IDs and plan sheets to near a 30% design level for <br /> the selected concepts and approaches. The sheets will inform the 60% <br /> design. <br /> After completion of field investigations, but prior to submittal of the draft Basis of Design Report, <br /> the Design-Builder shall coordinate with the City and the Washington State Department of <br /> Health regarding proposed infrastructure improvement options and conduct a Design <br /> Approach/Concept Workshop(s)with the City and Washington State Department of Health to <br /> present the Design-Builder's proposed approach(es) and concept(s) for design and construction <br /> of Project improvements including but not limited to alternatives for flocculation mixer <br /> improvements, chemical tank replacement and chemical delivery system improvements, and #5 <br /> line cross connection improvements. This workshop is intended to solicit early City input on <br /> problems and solutions identified by the Design-Builder, to be reflected in the draft Basis of <br /> Design Report. <br /> Furnish an electronic copy of any workshop materials and handouts to the City and the <br /> Washington State Department of Health in advance of the workshop, in Adobe PDF format. <br /> Furnish an electronic copy of draft meeting notes and decision and action logs resulting from the <br /> workshop to the City for review in Adobe PDF and native formats. Revise and submit final <br /> copies of meeting notes, decision and action logs addressing City comments. <br /> Submit a draft Basis of Design Report for City review and comment. Revise and submit a final <br /> Basis of Design Report with corresponding responses to City comments, including how they <br /> were addressed or not addressed in the final Basis of Design Report. The City will submit the <br /> final Basis of Design Report to Washington State Department of Health on the behalf of the <br /> Design-Builder for review and approval prior to the Design-builder commencing full design <br /> activities. <br /> Page 7 of 20 <br />
