Section 105: POSTERS OR STICKERS ON WI LOWS OR WIND- <br /> ShIW'LD PROHIBITED - EXCEPTIONS. It shll be unlawful for any person <br /> to operate any motor vehicle with any sign, poster, card, sticker <br /> or other non-transparent material upon the windshield or rear or <br /> site windows of such motor vehicle other than a certificate or sticker <br /> required by 1w or rule or regulation of proper and lawful authority, <br /> in which case the same shall be placed in the lower right-hand corner <br /> of the windshield only. <br /> Section 106: TRANSPORTATION OF PERSONS OR LIVE ANIMALS <br /> ON RUNNING BOARD PROHIBITED. It s1111 be unlawful for any person to <br /> transport any living animal on the running board, fenders, hood, or <br /> other outside part of any vehicle unless suitable harness, cage, or <br /> enclosure be provided and so attached as to protect such animal <br /> from falling or being thrown therefrom. It shall be unlawful for <br /> any person to transport any persons upon the running board, fenders, <br /> hood, or other outside part of any vehicle, except that this pro- <br /> vision shall not apply to authorized emergency vehicles. <br /> Section 107: UNLAWFUL TO TOW PERSONS ON BICYCLES, SLEDS, <br /> ROLLER SKATES, ETC. It shall be unlawful for any person to knowing- <br /> ly drive a vehicle to which any person traveling upon any bicycle, <br /> coaster, sled, roller skates, or any toy vehicle is clinging or has <br /> attached himself thereto for the purpose of being drawn by the same. <br /> Section 108: UNLAWFUL TO LEAVE VEHICLE FROM LEFT-HAND <br /> SIDE. it shall be unlawful for any person to enter or leave a <br /> vehicle from the left-hand side thereof in any business district, <br /> on any arterial highway, on any street upon which traffic lanes are <br /> established, or whenever such action represents a safety hazard: <br /> Provided, however, that such prohibition shall not apply to a vehicle <br /> angle parked, nor to authorized emergency vehicles. <br /> Section 109: OPERATING DOWNGRADE WITH GEARS IN NEUTRAL <br /> PROHIBITED. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor <br /> vehicle with the gears of such vehicle in neutral. It shall be un- <br /> lawful for any person to operate any motor vehicle when traveling <br /> upon a down grade with the clutch disengaged. This section shall <br /> not prevent the proper shifting of gears or the towing of a dis- <br /> abled vehicle. <br /> Section 110: BLOCKING TRAFFIC. No driver shall allow the <br /> vehicle of which he is in charge to remain upon or be so driven along <br /> any street as to unreasonably block or obstruct traffic. <br /> Section 111: EMBRACING ANOTHER PERSON WHILE DRIVING <br /> PROHIBITED. It shall be un]iwful for any person to operate a motor <br /> vehicle when such person has in his or her embrace another person <br /> which prevents the free and unhampered operation of such vehicle. <br /> Any person so doing shall be deemed guilty of reckless driving. <br /> Section 112: UIINECESSARY MOTOR NOISE PROHIBITPD. It <br /> shall be unlawful for any person to 'tune up" or "race" the engine <br /> of any motor vehicle on any street. The object of this provision <br /> is to prohibit loud or distressing noises. <br /> Section 113: FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY. it shall be unlawful <br /> for the operator of any motor vehicle to follow another vehicle more <br /> closely than is reas: nable and prudent, having due regard for the <br /> speed of such vehicles and the traffic upon and the condition of any <br /> such public highway, and in no event draw nearer than three (3) feet <br /> to any such preceding vehicle. <br /> -34- <br />
