Section 165: CERTIFICATE OF LICENSE REGISTRATION IUST <br /> BE CARRIED. No person shall operate or park a vehicle unless the <br /> Certificate of License Registration issued by the State of <br /> Washington, with the signature of the registered owner of such <br /> vehicle duly endorsed thereon, be at all times attached to the <br /> steering post or upon the instrument board of the vehicle for which <br /> it is issued. When the vehicle covered by such certificate or <br /> license registration has no steering post or instrument board, then <br /> Buch container with certificate therein shall be securely affixed <br /> at some conspicuous position upon said vehicle where the same can <br /> be easily found, read and inspected by a person on the outside of <br /> such vehicle at all times. The said container shall have a cover <br /> of transparent material through which the certificate may be <br /> inspected as to the information shown thereon, including the <br /> signature of the registered owner, and it shall be unlawful for any <br /> person to operate or have in his possession a vehicle without <br /> carrying thereon such certificate of license registration as herein <br /> provided.
