Task 4—Design Plans and Specifications <br /> The Consultant will develop the selected water quality treatment layout from Preliminary Design,Task 3, <br /> into construction documents consisting of Plan,Specification and Cost Estimate(PSE)with submittals at <br /> the 50%, 90%and Final(Bid Ready)stages,including Design Report submittals to Ecology. <br /> Constructability and Quality Management review will be completed at each stage prior to submittal. <br /> Tasks 4.1 Utility Coordination <br /> With the completion of the 50%Design,potential utility conflicts will be identified and critical utility <br /> crossing potholed to confirm clearances.The Consultant will identify potholing needs and coordinate with <br /> the City to provide utility potholing by City crews.Utility conflict exhibits will be developed based on the <br /> 90%design for coordination with utility owners. <br /> City of Everett's Responsibilities <br /> 1. Traffic control plan for pothole activities(PDF). <br /> 2. Utility potholing. <br /> 3. Results of Potholing—Field Notes(PDF) <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Pothole locations will be incorporated into the plans based on field reference measurements <br /> provided by the City. <br /> • The Utility conflict exhibits based on the 90%design plans will be emailed to the utility <br /> representatives to confirm utility sizes and coordination of potential utility relocation. <br /> • Utility resolution coordination will be required with up to three(3)separate utility owners. <br /> • Utility relocation design will be completed by the utility owners. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. Utility conflict exhibits,(PDF) <br /> Tasks 4.2 Treatment Design and Layout <br /> The Consultant will develop selected water quality layout into construction documents consisting of <br /> Plans,Specifications and Cost Estimate(PSE)with submittals at the 50%,90%and Final(Bid Ready) <br /> stages.The cost estimate will identify bid items that will require special provisions. <br /> City of Everett's Responsibilities <br /> • Provide the latest City title block and other City CAD standards. <br /> • Provide the latest City design standards or performance requirements. <br /> • Provide the current City of Everett Special Provisions Division 2 through 9 in Word-format for <br /> the Consultant to edit. <br /> • Provide the City's current Division 0 and 1 template in Word-format for the Consultant to <br /> incorporate into the project documents with the 90%and Final submittals. <br /> City of Everett <br /> 3rd Ave SE Water Quality Treatment Page 7 of 10 <br />
