I just looked through the case history with Eddie. If I understood the documents,the structure gained final approval from Bldg Dept to abate unpermitted alterations-with permits in 2012—as a Single Family Residence.One of the Permits CW1108-001 has a Planning Letter attached dated 9/2/2011.That letter states the structure is within a zone that allows duplexes and the structure is configured as a duplex under zoning code—therefore,a reasonable accommodation is not necessary so long as not more than 8 persons live on each of the two levels—for a total potential of 16 persons before an accommodation would be needed. If I have misunderstood the current position of the Bldg and/or Planning Depts on this structure, please let Eddie and I know.
