The comments below were generated from this project's City of Everett Civil Reviewers. All questions shall be routed through this project's Public Works
Reviewer Thad Newport with City of Everett Permit Services (TNewport@everettwa.gov).
# Document Sht/Pg Reviewer's Comment Designer's Response Initials
1 Plans — It appears that with the addition of the ADU and parking area will
have a net new impervious surface area exceeding 200SF.
Projects with 200SF or more of new impervious surface in the
combined stormwater/sewer area are required to meet the Flow
Control Performance Standard outlined in the City of Everett
Design and Construction Standards and Specifications Chapter
6-10. I have included the section as an attachment to the
correction email. Please provide a drainage report and revised
plans outlining how this project will meet the Flow Control •
Performance Standard for the new impervious surface area.
2 Plans - The area called out as gravel parking will need to be paved with
asphalt, concrete or pavers to meet the durable surfacing
requirement in EMC 19.34.120(B). Gravel is not considered a
durable surface since it tracks out into the roadway and needs to
be replaced more frequently than other hard surface materials.
•
