activity meetings as prepared by the Contractor; Review, track, analyze and comment on <br />contractors' Baseline and ongoing update schedules. Provide oversight, inspection, <br />monitoring, coordination, documentation and document control of Contractor's activities <br />in the construction of the Project; ensure compliance with Project plans and <br />specifications. <br />2. Act as the Owner's Representative with other City departments, Contractors, designers, <br />other public agencies, property owners, and utilities, including conducting meetings on <br />behalf of the City as requested by the OWNER. and facilitate project activities requiring <br />coordination and planning with City of Everett, City of Mukilteo, Mukilteo School District PSE, <br />and other public and private stakeholders in the completion of the work, as requested by <br />OWNER. <br />3. Make technical interpretations of the drawings, specifications, and contract documents. <br />4. Respond to or facilitate responses to requests for information (RFIs), submittals and other <br />contractor requests. Suppoit document controls staff to provide accurate and timely <br />responses. <br />5 Evaluate design changes, design clarifications and other requested deviations from <br />approved design and/or coordinate evaluations and interpretations with the appropriate <br />authorities. <br />6. Evaluate changes, determine entitlement and/or potential schedule and budget <br />implications, and independently assess cost estimate requests for additional <br />compensation; negotiate with the Contractor for final terms, prepare changer orders and <br />associated back-up materials, and obtain owner's review and concurrence prior to <br />execution; maintain current Potential Change Order (PCO) Log. <br />7. Review Pay Requests, IDR's, Field Memos, and other correspondence generated by the <br />Contractor or other members of the CM team. <br />8. Coordinate final inspections and punch list activities. <br />9. Coordinate and support the efforts of the public outreach consultant and/or the City's <br />internal communication staff as necessary to inform the many heavily impacted <br />stakeholders of construction impacts; the City's communications team will provide <br />broad area communication through website updates, other social media outlets press <br />releases, monthly updates, and targeted stakeholder briefings and will require <br />involvement by the CM team and contractor to assist in keeping the public and <br />stakeholders in general informed with the latest project information. <br />10. Prepare for and participate in and/or facilitate construction meetings with contractor and <br />City staff. <br />11. Make technical interpretations of the plans, specifications, and contract documents. <br />12. Act as main coordinator for all requests for information (RFIs) and submittals, ensuring <br />response timelines are met for both. Combine responses from Engineer(s) of Record and <br />combine into one response, as necessary.
