City may allow activating pedestrian recall timing or other accommodations during construction. Supplement 1-07.23(1) by adding the following: 1 Should Contractor find these lane closures too restrictive, Contractor is directed to 1-08.0(2) HOURS OF WORK regarding weekend working hours. Evergreen Way lane closure restrictions: Lane closures will not be allowed between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 pm on weekdays.lf Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. No lane closures will be allowed on a holiday or holiday weekend, or after 12:00 p.m. on a day prior to a holiday or holiday weekend. Contractor shall provide a uniformed off-duty Police Officer to control traffic in critical situations as determined by the Engineer. The uniformed officer shall be paid under contract item "Traffic Control —Off-Duty Police Officer." Contractor shall notify the local Fire, Police and Engineering Departments before the beginning of each phase of construction so that these agencies may re-route their emergency vehicles around the construction zone.
