<br /> Bid Item 28 - Water Service, 2-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).
<br /> The unit contract price for Water Service -inch, shall constitute full compensation for all
<br /> labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for new service lines continuous and 1
<br /> unspliced from the new main to a new meter setter in accordance with Parts C-G of COE
<br /> Standard Drawing No. 501, or Parts D-G of COE Standard Drawing No. 502, including yet
<br /> not limited to, connecting to service connection saddle, street pavement, concrete curb,
<br /> concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway, and concrete sidewalk removal, unless
<br /> installed using approved boring methods; furnishing, installing, and testing to curb stop,
<br /> valves, fittings, and installation of service line, and appurtenances; providing a #10 copper
<br /> tracer wire for polyethylene pipe, compaction, connection to existing or new meter setter
<br /> including fittings; dewatering; testing; removal or abandonment of existing service
<br /> connection.
<br /> Bid Item 29 - Connect to Fire Service, 6-inch I
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Connect to Water Service, =Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to connect new -
<br /> inch ductile iron service lines from the tee on the new main to reconnecting with the existing
<br /> service line, including yet not limited to, tee, reducers; pipe installation; restrained joint
<br /> fittings; trench excavation, backfill and compaction; street pavement, concrete curb,
<br /> concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway and concrete sidewalk removal; clearing and
<br /> grubbing; testing; lawn restoration including seeding or sodding; connection to existing
<br /> service line including fittings and new pipe matching existing diameter and material; I
<br /> dewatering; and removal or abandonment of existing service connection.
<br /> Bid Item 30 - Relocate Existing Water Meter, Setter and Box
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Existing Water Meter, Setter and Box shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to carefully salvage
<br /> and move to new location shown on the Plans. Work includes, and not limited to,
<br /> excavation, backfill and compaction; clearing and grubbing; testing; sawdust fill to prevent
<br /> freezing, and restoration of removal area to match adjacent ground.
<br /> Bid Item 31 - Bid Item 36: Catch Basin, Type 1
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit price per each for Catch Basin, Type 1 shall be full compensation for all labor,
<br /> material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as
<br /> defined in these Contract Documents.
<br /> The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall be full compensation for furnishing,
<br /> hauling, and assembling in place the completed installation including inlets, catch basins,
<br /> frames and grates, adjustment sections, pipe connections, special fittings, and joint
<br /> materials up to a depth of 10-ft as measured from the flowline of the outlet pipe to the
<br /> surface of the Work measured to the nearest foot.
<br /> The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall also include, but not be limited to, all
<br /> costs for excavation; hauling and disposing of surplus or unsuitable material; dewatering;
<br /> storm water flow bypassing, furnishing and installing couplings; furnishing and installing
<br /> steps or ladder; placing and compacting of suitable native backfill; furnishing, placing, and
