•
City
of
February 5, 1990 e v ere t t
Cecil Stanley
21713 132nd St. SE
Monroe,Wa. 98272
Re:Water service request to the City of Everett
Dear Mr. Stanley,
After reviewing the details associated with providing City water service to the
properties owned by yourself and Mr. Salmon, it is my recommendation that service
be provided to these two parcels through a single connection designed to serve those
properties within 1000 feet of the old County landfill.
It was recommended to you and Mr. Salmon, at the meeting held in my office on
February 1, 1990, that you seek to identify the parcels of property that lie within
1000 feet of the old County landfill as potential water system customers. These
parcels should be identified as potential water system members for the purposes of
meeting the State and City requirements. Copies of City Ordinance 1374-87 were
provided to you and Mr. Salmon at our meeting.
It is recommended that the following steps be followed to obtain a water service
from the City of Everett.
1) Identify the property owners within 1000 feet of the old County
landfill.
2) Contact these property owners to determine if they are interested in
being a part of the proposed water system.
3 Develop the water association/district language.
4 Determine if fire protection will be required by the local fire district.
5 Design the water system to serve your customers and comply with
local and City requirements.
6) Apply to the responsible regulatory agency for your water system
approval.
7) Apply to the City-of Everett for the water system connection.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at 259-8800.
Sincerely,
Alfred R.
