As I discussed with you on June 6, 1990 the Snohomish Health District is responsible for regulating water purveyors who fall into the less than 10 customers size. Please contact Mr. Brent Raasina at 339-5270 at the Snohomish Health District for information concerning this class of water systems. The Lake Roesiger fire marshal) at 568-1954 or 568-2830 recommends that a hydrant be installed to improve the fire fighting capabilities for this area. My position with the City of Everett affords me occasions to deal with other purveyors in the County. Mr. Ron Moyer with the Snohomish PUD at 258-8614 may be able to serve this area with an extension from an existing system of theirs that is also fed from the City's water lines. Since this area lies within the PUD service area please confirm if the PUD can service your clients. Once you have exhausted the ability to contact the property owners that lie within 1000 feet of the old County landfill, designed the water system to comply with local and City requirements and received local regulatory approval of your proposed water system, then you should apply to the city for a water service. You may prefer to seek service from the Snohomish PUD after discussing that possibility with Mr. Moyer.
