C. Points of Contact The EPD Deputy Chief of Operations,or designee and the NW CRU Supervisor will be the points of contact for any work done under this MOU. D. Geographical Location For the purpose of this MOU the Anti-Crime Team will focus primarily within the jurisdiction of the City of Everett E. Commitment of Resources The City of Everett agrees to commit the following resources to the project as appropriate and available: • The Special Operations Team based out of the Everett Police Department • Joint EPD/DOC office space as available • EPD identification and access to precincts for qualified personnel • Training for the Special Operations team as appropriate and available • A portable radio for use by the designated DOC Specialist as available. The DOC agrees to commit the following: • 1 DOC Specialist commissioned by WA DOC under RCW 10.93.020. • A laptop computer for use in the field with access to appropriate WA DOC databases. • Training for the WA DOC Specialist to include but not limited to:Defensive Tactics,Firearm proficiency,de-escalation,medical,current legal considerations and legislative mandates, • 1 vehicle equipped with emergency lights and siren.This vehide will be maintained by DOC. F. Supervision The EPD Anti-Crime Team sergeant shall supervise the day-to-day operations of the team.In some cases,EPD may have operational control of an event involving the team,while in other cases,DOC may have operational control of the event involving the team.However,each team member will remain formally under the supervision of their respective agencies and their supervisors in their respective agencies.The Anti-Crime Team Sergeant and the NW CRU Supervisor will consult with each other periodically about missions and operations. Each team member shall be responsible for complying with their respective agency's policies and procedures. Each agency shall be responsible for their respective team members in the event of emergency responses,use of force events,or injuries or accidents.
