The agreement was settled after the City budget process was completed, so the start up costs required for the program were <br />not included in the original 2022 budget. This amendment would increase the training and personal protection equipment budget for <br />the program. <br />This amendment requests to recognize the reimbursement from the Seattle Fire Department for training costs associated with <br />structural collapse rescue training that is part of required continuing education. <br />This amendment proposes to increase Police's overtime budget to cover additional support at the City Council meetings. The $8,420 <br />represents an estimate of costs for the second half of 2022. A full year of coverage will be proposed for 2023 and forward. <br />Tally 2022 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />
