Assumptions: • City to provide electronic GIS base map of project area including the following information: connection points, water system,sewer system, storm water system, buildings, quarter sections,street centerlines, control monuments, paved streets, alleys, bridges, parcels, lots, right-of-way, and utility easements. • City to provide data on at least two known monuments as close to the project limits as possible. • City to provide electronic templates for plan sheets, including City CAD and survey standards on CD. • City to provide field book for design survey. • City to provide record drawings for City water,sewer, and storm drains within the project area. • The following items are not included in this scope of work: o Cadastral surveying to determine actual property and right of way lines. o Construction staking. The Contractor will be responsible for staking the proposed water alignments based on reference points set by City's selected surveyors during the initial topographic survey. o Construction surveying Activities: Survey(Subconsultant). • Subconsultant will provide survey services necessary to design the proposed infrastructure improvements. • Utility Location and Research o Contract with locating servicing company to provide utility locates for all non-city primary and secondary utilities, including services. o Coordinate with City Utilities to provide water, sewer and storm sewer mains and service locates. o Research, contact, and coordinate with utility companies to obtain utility base maps and/or record drawings for existing power, gas,telephone, and cable utilities within the vicinity of the project area. • Topographic Survey o Provide topographic survey in accordance with "Appendix A - SURVEY STANDARDS" from the latest edition of the City of Everett Standards Manual for CIVIL CAD and Graphics, unless modified in this document. • Latest copy of the City of Everett Standards Manual for CIVIL CAD and Graphics containing Appendix A can be found using the following link: https://www.everettwa.gov/1711/CAD-Standards o Provide for traffic control while working along City streets. At minimum provide vehicle with flashing light(s) and warning signage such as "Survey Work Ahead." o Set additional temporary benchmarks as necessary to facilitate construction of the project, including at each street intersection and at the midpoint between intersections April 2022 Page 8 of 35 Jacobs Engineering Group
