Assumptions: <br /> • City to provide electronic GIS base map of project area including the following information: <br /> connection points, water system,sewer system, storm water system, buildings, quarter <br /> sections,street centerlines, control monuments, paved streets, alleys, bridges, parcels, lots, <br /> right-of-way, and utility easements. <br /> • City to provide data on at least two known monuments as close to the project limits as possible. <br /> • City to provide electronic templates for plan sheets, including City CAD and survey standards on <br /> CD. <br /> • City to provide field book for design survey. <br /> • City to provide record drawings for City water,sewer, and storm drains within the project area. <br /> • The following items are not included in this scope of work: <br /> o Cadastral surveying to determine actual property and right of way lines. <br /> o Construction staking. The Contractor will be responsible for staking the proposed water <br /> alignments based on reference points set by City's selected surveyors during the initial <br /> topographic survey. <br /> o Construction surveying <br /> Activities: <br /> Survey(Subconsultant). <br /> • Subconsultant will provide survey services necessary to design the proposed infrastructure <br /> improvements. <br /> • Utility Location and Research <br /> o Contract with locating servicing company to provide utility locates for all non-city <br /> primary and secondary utilities, including services. <br /> o Coordinate with City Utilities to provide water, sewer and storm sewer mains and <br /> service locates. <br /> o Research, contact, and coordinate with utility companies to obtain utility base maps <br /> and/or record drawings for existing power, gas,telephone, and cable utilities within the <br /> vicinity of the project area. <br /> • Topographic Survey <br /> o Provide topographic survey in accordance with "Appendix A - SURVEY STANDARDS" <br /> from the latest edition of the City of Everett Standards Manual for CIVIL CAD and <br /> Graphics, unless modified in this document. <br /> • Latest copy of the City of Everett Standards Manual for CIVIL CAD and Graphics <br /> containing Appendix A can be found using the following link: <br /> https://www.everettwa.gov/1711/CAD-Standards <br /> o Provide for traffic control while working along City streets. At minimum provide vehicle <br /> with flashing light(s) and warning signage such as "Survey Work Ahead." <br /> o Set additional temporary benchmarks as necessary to facilitate construction of the <br /> project, including at each street intersection and at the midpoint between intersections <br /> April 2022 Page 8 of 35 Jacobs Engineering Group <br />
