April 2022 Page 3 of 35 Jacobs Engineering Group • The Consultant will prepare technical specifications for the project in 2004 CSI format, with the exception of the Procurement and Contracting specifications (Division 00), which will be prepared by the City with input from Consultant, as requested. • Design budget is based on the drawing and specification lists included as Attachments A and B./ • Pavement and street layout designs will utilize City’s standard approach. • Design will utilize City approved standard pipe materials. • The City will be responsible for leading the project permitting effort, preparing permit applications and acquiring project permits. The City will prepare SEPA checklist and other environmental activities and permit applications/approvals. Consultant will furnish the 30% level drawings and quantities for excavation and backfill for the SEPA checklist. • The City will be responsible for leading public involvement and public outreach activities and will utilize work products scoped in this scope of services; additional assistance and preparation of work products is not included in this scope. • Traffic control during construction will be the responsibility of the contractor. Traffic control requirements will be provided in the specifications and through general notes on the drawings. No specific traffic control drawings are anticipated. • It is assumed that no environmental remediation is required on this project. • For each submittal the City will provide the Consultant with the following: o Written review comments consolidated on one set of submitted documents. o Comments within three weeks of the date of submittal by the Consultant. 3. CITY FURNISHED DOCUMENTS For Detailed Design, the City will provide the documentation described herein. Additional documentation and services to be provided are listed in individual task assumptions. Documentation provided by the City will include: • GIS data for the project area. • Existing information and record drawings of the Pacific Regulator and Pacific Ave. sewer system. • Sewer O (Phase 2) project information and drawings. • Everett Transit project information. • Existing geotechnical data in the vicinity of the projects, if available. • Online links to survey monument data. • Requirements for survey book. • Any supplement to online City Design Standards that might be available. • Standard and Master drawings and specifications. • City Special Provisions. • Sample plans and specifications as a guide to content and format. • Recent unit price-based bid tabs for similar sewer and CSO storage projects, if available.
