City of Everett 01 11 00 -2 <br /> Water Filter Plant Portal 4 Improvements WO# 3755 ' <br /> C. The Contractor shall limit the construction activities to the areas indicated on the <br /> Drawings. <br /> D. Construction Plan: Before the start of construction, provide a construction plan <br /> regarding access to Work, use of Site, proposed laydown areas and utility <br /> outages for acceptance by the City. After acceptance of the plan, construction <br /> operations shall comply with the accepted plan unless deviations are accepted <br /> by the City in writing. <br /> 1.3 WORK HOURS <br /> A. Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines each <br /> phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br /> B. The Work site is available from 6:00 AM — 6:00 PM during the work week (M-F) r <br /> excluding City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City's Project <br /> Manager. Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval <br /> and coordination with the City's Project Manager. <br /> C. The Water Filter Plant (WFP) is operated 24/7 and access to the work area must <br /> be available to plant staff during the project. The Contractor will have access to <br /> Portal 4, Flocculation Basin Electrical Room, and other areas noted on the Plans <br /> to perform the Work. Contractor will not be permitted access to buildings or other 111 <br /> treatment facilities within the WFP boundary unless required as a part of the <br /> Work. <br /> 1.4 WORK SEQUENCE <br /> A. Work in stages in order to accommodate Owner's use requirements during the <br /> construction period. <br /> B. Contractor must field verify connection points including inspection, potholing, <br /> excavation and exposure of existing pipelines to confirm the horizontal and <br /> vertical alignment. Field verification, including survey, must be completed and <br /> submitted prior to submittal of Lay drawings and procurement of materials. I <br /> C.
