City of Everett 01 11 00 - 3 ' Water Filter Plant Portal 4 Improvements WO#3755 1.5 PERMITS A. The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay the cost of any applicable permits required to do the Work, and such costs shall be included in the Bid. 1.6 WORK BY OTHERS ' A. The Contractor is required to coordinate all their activities with the City's Project Manager, or his/her designee. The City may have other construction projects in progress at WFP during the duration of this project and it is the Contractor's ' responsibility to assure that adequate notice is given to the City's Project Manager regarding equipment or materials that may need to be relocated in order to perform the work. 1.7 WORK BY THE OWNER ' A. The City shall have the right to access the site 24/7 and execute work not included in this Contract and concurrent with the contract period. Contractor shall ' cooperate with such City sponsored efforts. B. The Contractor shall coordinate with the City in scheduling operations to minimize ' conflict with concurrent construction projects, plant operations and maintenance activities. 1.8 CODES AND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS A. All construction shall be in accordance with the International Building Code, ' Current Adopted Edition. B. All construction shall be in accordance with the Uniform Mechanical Code, and the Uniform Plumbing Code, latest editions. C. All construction shall be in conformance with the WSDOT/APWA Standard ' Specifications and Standard Plans, latest editions, only to the extent that they are called out in the Contract Documents. ' D. All construction shall be in conformance with the City of Everett Design and Construction Standards and Specifications, latest edition, only to the extent that they are called out in the Contract Documents.
