The Contractor shall retain these records for that period. The Contractor 11 shall also guarantee that these records of all Subcontractors and lower tier 1 12 Subcontractors shall be available and open to similar inspection or audit for the same 13 time period. 14 I 15 1-08.3.GR1 16 Progress Schedule 17 I 18 1-08.3(2)A.RTF 19 1-08.3(2)A Type A Progress Schedule 20 (March 13, 2012 APWA GSP) I 21 22 Revise this section to read: 23 i 24 The Contractor shall submit ***3*** copies of a Type A Progress Schedule no later than 25 ***10 working days after the preconstruction conference***, or some other mutually agreed 26 upon submittal time. The schedule may be a critical path method (CPM) schedule, bar 27 chart, or other standard schedule format. Regardless of which format used, the schedule I28 shall identify the critical path. The Engineer will evaluate the Type A Progress Schedule 29 and approve or return the schedule for corrections within 15 calendar days of receiving the 30 submittal. I 31 32 1-08.4.RTF 33 1-08.4 Prosecution of Work 1 34 35 Delete this section and replace it with the following: 36 I 37 1-08.4 Notice to Proceed and Prosecution of Work 38 (July 23, 2015 APWA GSP) 39 I 40 Notice to Proceed will be given after the contract has been executed and the contract 41 bond and evidence of insurance have been approved and filed by the Contracting 42 Agency. The Contractor shall not commence with the work until the Notice to Proceed I43 has been given by the Engineer. The Contractor shall commence construction activities 44 on the project site within ten days of the Notice to Proceed Date, unless otherwise 45 approved in writing. The Contractor shall diligently pursue the work to the physical 46 completion date within the time specified in the contract. Voluntary shutdown or slowing I 47 of operations by the Contractor shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to 48 complete the work within the time(s) specified in the contract. 49 I 50 When shown in the Plans, the first order of work shall be the installation of high visibility 51 fencing to delineate all areas for protection or restoration, as described in the Contract.
