I <br /> 1 Installation of high visibility fencing adjacent to the roadway shall occur after the <br /> 2 placement of all necessary signs and traffic control devices in accordance with 1-10.1(2). I <br /> 3 Upon construction of the fencing, the Contractor shall request the Engineer to inspect the <br /> 4 fence. No other work shall be performed on the site until the Contracting Agency has <br /> 5 accepted the installation of high visibility fencing, as described in the Contract. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 1-08.5.GR1 <br /> 8 Time for Completion <br /> 9111 <br /> 10 1-08.5.INST2.GR1 <br /> 11 Section 1-08.5 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 12 I 13 1-08.5.OPT7.FR1 <br /> 14 (March 13, 1995) <br /> 15 This project shall be physically completed within *** sixty(60) *** working days. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 1-08.5.OptionA.RTF <br /> 18 1-08.5 Time for Completion <br /> 19 (January 19, 2022 APWA GSP, Option A) <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Revise the third and fourth paragraphs to read: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Contract time shall begin on the first working day following the Notice to Proceed Date. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Each working day shall be charged to the contract as it occurs, until the contract work is <br /> 26 physically complete. If substantial completion has been granted and all the authorized <br /> 27 working days have been used, charging of working days will cease. Each week the <br /> 28 Engineer will provide the Contractor a statement that shows the number of working days: <br /> 29 (1) charged to the contract the week before; (2) specified for the physical completion of <br /> 30 the contract; and (3) remaining for the physical completion of the contract. The <br /> 31 statement will also show the nonworking days and any partial or whole day the Engineer <br /> 32 declares as unworkable The statement will be identified as a Written Determination by <br /> 33 the Engineer. If the Contractor does not agree with the Written Determination of working <br /> 34 days, the Contractor shall pursue the protest procedures in accordance with Section 1- <br /> 35 04.5. By failing to follow the procedures of Section 1-04.5, the Contractor shall be <br /> 36 deemed as having accepted the statement as correct. If the Contractor is approved to <br /> 37 work 10 hours a day and 4 days a week (a 4-10 schedule) and the fifth day of the week <br /> 38 in which a 4-10 shift is worked would ordinarily be charged as a working day then the <br /> 39 fifth day of that week will be charged as a working day whether or not the Contractor <br /> 40 works on that day. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Revise the sixth paragraph to read: <br /> 43 <br /> 44 The Engineer will give the Contractor written notice of the completion date of the contract <br /> 45 after all the Contractor's obligations under the contract have been performed by the <br /> 46 Contractor. The following events must occur before the Completion Date can be <br /> 47 established: I <br /> 48 1. The physical work on the project must be complete; and <br /> 49 2.
