The door appears to be glass construction, and should be specified to included safety glass <br /> per IBC 2406.4.1. <br /> c. The door shall specify a maximum thermal rating of UMAx=0.6 per WSEC-15 Table C402.4. <br /> d. The glazing panels on each side of the door should be specified to included safety glass per <br /> IBC 2406.4.2. <br /> e. The glazing panels on each side of the door should specify a maximum thermal rating of <br /> UMAx=0.38 per WSEC-15 Table C402.4. <br /> 9. Floor Plan 1/A-2.0 shows two exterior doors exiting the seating area. The following comments <br /> shall be addressed: <br /> a. The north door shall include panic hardware per IBC Section 1010.1.10. Note that <br /> Exception 1 is limited to use at the main exit door, which appears to be already designated <br /> by Key Note 12 as the south door. <br /> b. The north door should be provided with an exit sign and egress lighting. See IBC Sections <br /> 1013.6.3 and 1008.3. <br /> c. The exit signs and egress lighting at both the north and south exterior doors shall be <br /> provided with a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power. A note should be added <br /> to the drawings. See IBC Sections 1013.6.3 and 1008.3.4. <br /> d. The exterior landings providing egress shall be provided with emergency lighting. The <br /> lighting shall specify a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section <br /> 1008.3.4. See IBC Sections 1008.3.2 Item 5 and 1010.1.6. <br /> Accessibility: <br /> 10. Floor Plan 1/A-2.0 shows multiple interior doors and doorways. All doors should have a <br /> minimum width for accessibility of 32 inches. The widths should be specified in the drawings. <br /> See IBC Section 107.2.1 and 1102.1, and ICC A117.1-09 Section 404.2.2. <br /> 11. Floor Plan 1/A-4.0 shows the door for Restroom 103 opening towards the end of the 48-inch <br /> wide hall. The minimum hall width for this door to be accessible is 54 inches per ICC A117.1-09 <br /> Figure 404.2.3.2(d). The hall width or the door swing shall be revised. Note that if the door <br /> swing is reversed per Figure 404.2.3.2(f), the minimum hall width shall be 54 inches if a closer <br /> is provided.
