The following comments should be addressed: <br /> • The elevation does not appear consistent with either the new Restroom 105 or the <br /> existing Restroom 103. For example, the water closet and sink are not located on the <br /> same wall in Restroom 105, and the relative position of the watercloset and sink in <br /> Restroom 103 is opposite of the elevation. The elevation should be referenced in the <br /> drawings and revised for consistency. <br /> • The elevation shows the flush handle on the sidewall side of the watercloset. The <br /> handle should be located on the open side. See ICC A117.1-09 Section 604.6. <br /> • Continuing with the previous comment, the flush handle for the existing watercloset in <br /> Restroom 103 should be relocated to the open side if not already located on this side. <br /> See IEBC Section 705.2. <br /> REPLY;See new revised plan on sheetA2.2 and A6 0 for revision, <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> 12. Restrooms 103 and 105 on Floor Plan 1/A-2.0 are single-occupant compartments. The <br /> construction drawings should specify that the doors shall be provided with lockable hardware. <br /> See IBC Section 1210.3.1 Exception 1. <br /> REPLY:See sheet A2,0 for restroom lockable hardware <br /> 13. Exhaust fans should be specified in each of Restrooms 103 and 105 on Floor Plan 1/A- <br /> 2.0. The fans should provide a minimum exhaust rate of 20 CFM continuously or 50 CFM <br /> intermittently per IMC Table 403.3.1.1. See IBC Section 1203.1. <br /> REPLY:See sheet for restroom 50 CFM exhaust fan, <br /> 14. The Kitchen may require the installation of a grease trap. These documents have not <br /> been reviewed for the treatment of oil or grease that may enter the City of Everett sewer <br /> system. Contact Industrial Pretreatment at (425)257-8240 regarding pretreatment or grease <br /> removal requirements. The drawings shall specify the requirement to install a grease trap if <br /> required. See Everett Municipal Code Chapter 14.42. <br /> REPLY:No grease trap. There is no food cooking in the kitchenette. All pastry and <br /> sandwiches are delivered to the store from outside. <br /> 15. A letter should be obtained from Industrial Pretreatment confirming that a grease trap is <br /> not required. Include the letter with the submittal documents. <br /> REPLY:It is in the process of requesting the letter from Industrial Pretreatment. <br />
