• Inviting staff members to meetings and trainings.
2.9 PART B TREE INVENTORY SOFTWARE
The successful proposer will provide a web-based tree inventory software that allows the City to review,
track and update its tree inventory. The software will help the city identify and prioritize maintenance
needs of the trees within the City’s control. An ideal software will also provide a public interface for third-
party viewing so that the public may have the educational benefit of knowing the types and values of the
trees in the city. An ideal software system must provide the information such as the type, size, and
maintenance needs of trees, as well as calculate the environmental benefits provided by Everett’s trees.
2.10 EXISTING SYSTEMS
CivicPlus: City Website Software. Software must be able to integrate with CivicPlus. Ideally, select users of
the City’s CivicPlus platform can access the data to update records. The City would put a portal to the
software on Civic Plus and be able to authenticate users from there.
Tyler Data and Insights powered by Socrata – City’s Open Data Portal. Software must be able to integrate
with Tylet Data Insights. to pull data sets automatically on a schedule from the application and publish
them on open data.
City Works – City’s Asset Management System Software must be able to integrate with City Works and its
work order system. The intent of the integration is for work orders from the tree inventory software
would be merged and prioritized with other city needs in City Works and assigned to staff.
2.11 EXISTING COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
If the provided solution is to utilize City of Everett infrastructure, it must meet our technology standards
which are based on the following:
Server Infrastructure and Platforms
• Microsoft Server 2019 or 2022.
• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0.
• VMware vSphere 6.
• Exchange Online.
• Microsoft SQL Server / 2019 or Microsoft Azure SQL Database Managed Instances.
• Microsoft Azure Services.
Desktop Computing
• Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise.
• Office365.
• Microsoft Edge.
