• Section 14: POLICE DEPARTT,, TT. There shall be the following named officers and assistants in the Police Department , to-wit: One Chief of Police ; One captain of Police; One Sergeant Inspector; One Supt. bureau Identification; Five Sergeants; Four Plain Clothesmen; Eighteen Patrolmen, First Class ; Seven Patrolmen, Second Class; One Police Matron; One Assistant Matron; One Jail superintendent ; One Department Clerk. It shall be the duty of the officers and assistants in said Police Department to perfoym the duties indicated by the name of their employment , and such other duties es the Chief of Police or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. ;Section 15 : FIRE DEP. RTMENT: There shall be the following named officers and assistants in the Fire Department , to-wit: One Chief of r--ire Department ; One Supt. .ire and Police Signal ; Two Ass't. Chiefs; One Sire Marshal; One Ass 't. Supt . _ire and Police Signal ; One Master Mechanic; One Captain Drill Master; Soffi litTs.' One Fireman-Clerk; One AssidLn_t I;echanic ; One/ ice Signal Technician; One Second Ass't. Fire and Police signal Technician; One Senior Pipemen Chief Operator;Two Senior Pipemen Operators; Eleven Senior Pipemen: Seven Junior Pipemen: Eleven. Second Year Pipemen. It shall be the duty of such officers and assistants in said department to perform the duties indicated by the name of their employment , and such other duties as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct . Section 16 : FIRE HYDRANT DEPARTMENT. There shall be the following named employee in the Fire Hydrant Department , to-wit: One Hydrant Repairman (pert time ) . It shall bE the duty of such employee to perform the duties indicated by the name of his employment and such other duties as the Chief of Sire Department or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. -4-
