'othing contained herein shall operate to limit the au- <br /> thority of any State Patrol Officer, peace Officer, auxiliary policeman, air raid <br /> warden or other authorized person to ;prescribe the place and manner of parking by <br /> the giving of specific directions at the particular time and place involved, and <br /> any such directions shall be complied with immediately. <br /> (h) Y'hen vehicles or buses are stopped, the brakes shall be securely set or the <br /> wheels blocked so as to prevent normal movement, and the ignition or controls shall <br /> be locked (if a lock is available) to Trevent operation as far as practical, but <br /> the door shall not be locked if the vehicle is left unattended. <br /> (i) No vehicles or buses (except emergency, military or naval vehicles) shall <br /> enter any bridge, viaduct Vd' tunnel during a period of, and in an area of air raid <br /> alarm, and if already there at the time of alarm such vehicle shall proceed to the <br /> end of exit thereof and as far beyond az necessary to park in accordance with the <br /> requirements hereinabove expressed. <br /> (j) Persons in charge of vehicles transporting explosives, gasoline or other <br /> dangerous combustibles, shall proceed to a place more than one hundred (100) feet <br /> from the nearest building before parking such vehicle, if it is possible to do sn, <br /> unless otherwise directed 'w a patrolman, peace officer, or other authorized person. <br /> 2. SuSPENSION C- PAP KING Ln-S. During any period and in any area of air raid alarm, <br /> all ordinaces and. regulations in regards to the parkin; of vehicles, buses, and <br /> the lighting thereof, and in regard to parking zones, shall be suspended in so far <br /> as they conflict with any requirements providedherein. No person shall be held <br /> guilty of a violation of any ordinance or any regulation by reason for the fact that <br /> he has left a vehicle or bus in a proper position and condition during a period <br /> and in an area of air rad alarm as required by the provisions hereof, and has left <br /> said vehicle or bus in the same position and condition for a reasonable time, under <br /> all the circumstances, after the termination of said period of air raid alar.-a. <br /> 3.
