Such <br /> vehicles and operators are eligible to apply for and receive identifyin insignia <br /> and permits as here .rafter provided, which mam serve to expedite their travel <br /> by facilitating their identification. <br /> Li.. - iLI TARY, NAVAL and OFFICIAL V- ~ICL <br /> (a) Vehicles under the control of the armed forces of the United States or of <br /> the Washington State Guard (readily identifiable as such), acting under official <br /> orders, may travel during periods and in areas of air raid alarm with no additional <br /> identification, Permit or authorization. Such vehicles and operators are eligible <br /> to apply for and receive identification insignia and permits as hereina_'ter pro- <br /> vided, which may serve to expedite their travel ey facilitating their ide--tifi- <br /> cation. <br /> (b) `rivately owned vehicles operated by personnel of the armed forces pre- <br /> ceeding under official military or naval orders may likewise travel during periods <br /> and in areas cf air raid alarm with no additional identification, permit or author- <br /> ization. 1:n order to expedite travel, such vehicles are eligible to diselay idert- <br /> fication as _mrovided in }_aracre h 5 of this section. <br /> 5.
