• Pressure Discharge Connection –develop design and two alternative details
for pressure connection to existing sewer subject to surcharge, including
additional air/vacuum valve assembly.
• Bridge Stormwater Improvements – revise force main to avoid planned bridge
project stormwater improvements.
• Add horizontal control coordinates to force main alignment points and
structures.

Assumptions:
• The City’s Technical Services Group will decommission operating equipment in the existing
station and will temporarily decommission and remove the Bioxide system in support of the
City’s bridge project. Following completion of that project, the City will reinstall the Bioxide
system, with power supply and chemical feed equipment connections to the new pump
station installation.
• City will lead design for Port of Everett side sewer connection at Mt. Baker Terminal
• Integrate XREFs for pavement overlay completed by TranTech Engineering team.
TranTech will provide CAD files for the Shore Ave. overlay sections.
• The City will be successful in securing additional right of way or easement for the area to
be used for the generator pad, electrical equipment structu re, and appurtenant structures,
facilities and improvements, as presented in the 95% lift station plan submittal (i.e., outside
the small sliver of property at 3829 Shore Ave).

Deliverables
• Sketches of three additional alternative site layouts for station including one with power and
control equipment on west side of Shore Ave.
• Sketches of two alternative force main discharge connection assemblies.
• Sketches of alternative configurations for force main access manholes.
• Create up to three drawings (plans and sections) in Lift Station 15 plan set for pavement
overlay and parking area striping plans and sections.
