<br />City of Everett – Replacement of Reservoir 3 7 Scope of Services <br />9. Facilitate and attend a 90% design review workshop to discuss comments provided by <br />the City. Consultant will prepare and provide a comment log in Microsoft Excel format to <br />track comment responses. <br />10. Upon receipt of City’s 90% design review comments, Consultant will incorporate agreed <br />upon comments and prepare a bid set of contract documents signed and stamped by a <br />professional engineer licensed in the State of Washington. Reservoir drawings and <br />structural calculations will be stamped by a structural engineer licensed in the State of <br />Washington. This will include special provisions to the specifications to be included as <br />part of the contract specifications and a Class 1 OPCC for City’s reference. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. Provide reviews, as needed, with one set of consolidated (conflict resolved) comments <br />within 10 business days of receiving the submittal documents. <br />2. Responsible for preparation of Division 0 (Front-end specifications). <br />Assumptions <br />1. Construction drawings will be prepared on 22” x 34” full-size drawings, allowing for <br />reproduction at a half-size scale of 11” x 17”. <br />2. Plan and profile sheets will be produced at a 1” = 20’ horizontal scale for plan <br />(horizontal) view and 1” = 5’ for profile (vertical) view allowing for approximately 500 <br />linear feet of pipeline to be placed on a single plan and profile sheet. <br />3. Plans and surveys shall conform to City CADD standards. <br />4. Technical specifications will be based on the City’s current Design and Construction <br />Standards and Specifications (2022-Design-and-Construction-Standards-Vol1-and-Vol2 <br />(everettwa.gov)) dated January 2022. Up to 15 new technical specifications with <br />modifications on up to 30 technical specifications are anticipated to be included as part <br />of the special provisions to the specifications. <br />5. The Lauren Valve Connection will be included in the bid documents for Phase 1. <br />6. Design review workshops will be held in person at the City’s offices and is assumed to <br />be two hours in length and will be attended by up to five Consultant staff members with <br />an additional two hours accounting for travel time. <br />Deliverables <br />1. 30% design documents (PDF format) including comment log (Excel format). <br />2. 60% design documents (PDF format) including comment log (Excel format). <br />3. 90% design documents (PDF format) including comment log (Excel format). <br />4. Issue for Bid contract documents (PDF format). <br />Task 400 – Phase 1 Bid Phase Services <br />Task Objective <br />The purpose of this task is to provide assistance to the City during the bid phase of the Phase 1 <br />Reservoir No. 3 Replacement project.
