<br />City of Everett – Replacement of Reservoir 3 8 Scope of Services <br />Consultant Services <br />1. The Consultant will assist the City in responding to bidder’s questions. <br />2. Attend and provide support for one pre-bid conference. <br />3. As necessary and as approved by the City, prepare up to seven addenda that address <br />bidders’ questions to the Bidding Documents. <br />4. Work with City staff to review the bids received, check selected references as directed <br />by the City and assist the City regarding the decision and recommendation to award the <br />contract. <br />5. Prepare conformed set of contract documents to include addenda issued during the <br />bidding process. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. Prepare and advertise the contract for bid. <br />2. Coordinate and conduct pre-bid conference and bid-opening. <br />3. Primary contact for bidders’ questions including coordinating and tracking bidder <br />communications and issuing addenda. <br />4. Coordinate City’s legal representative with HDR regarding recommendations of award <br />that may involve waiver of formalities or irregularities in the bid. <br />Assumptions <br />1. Pre-bid conference will occur at the City’s offices with a visit to the Reservoir No. 3 site <br />to follow. This combined effort is assumed to be four hours in length and will be attended <br />in person by up to two Consultant staff members with an additional two hours accounting <br />for travel time. <br />2. Hard copies of the pre-bid conference agenda, documents and handouts, will be <br />provided by the City. <br />3. Services will be provided after bids are received. <br />4. It is assumed that 30 sheets will be updated with up to one hour of CADD staff per <br />sheet. <br />Deliverables <br />1. If necessary, up to seven addenda addressing bidding questions, via e-mail in pdf <br />format. <br />2. Conformed set of 11”x17” Contract Drawings submitted electronically in pdf format and <br />AutoCAD files. <br />Task 500 – Phase 2 Design Phase Services <br />Task Objective <br />The purpose of this task is to design and prepare contract documents for a single ground <br />storage reservoir to be constructed in the same location of the existing 20 MG reservoir once <br />the Phase 1 ground storage reservoirs are constructed and placed in service.
