<br />City of Everett – Replacement of Reservoir 3 13 Scope of Services <br />Subtask 700.2 – Public Outreach <br />Consultant Services <br />1. Develop a public engagement plan outlining communication goals, key messages, and <br />tactics to use to keep the local community informed and engaged. <br />2. Develop informational materials about the project. This work will include: <br />a. Project fact sheet (up to four) <br />b. Informational on-site signage (up to two) <br />c. Project map suitable for posting online <br />d. Content for a project web page on the City’s website (updated quarterly) <br />e. All materials will comply with City branding standards. <br />3. Organize and participate in up to 10 community briefings with stakeholders which <br />include developing agenda, gather presentation materials and providing meeting notes. <br />4. Host up to six public meetings based on milestones, such as project initiation, design <br />updates, groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. This work will include for each meeting: <br />a. Developing a meeting plan <br />b. Developing informational boards/materials including PowerPoint slides <br />c. Providing notification materials for the City to distribute <br />d. Providing a high-level summary of what was heard at the event <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. City will lead public outreach efforts including providing the meeting venue, scheduling <br />meetings and paying for expenses related to the meeting such as printing, food, or <br />venue. <br />Assumptions <br />1. Community briefings will be held in person/virtual and is assumed to be one hour in <br />length and will be attended by up to two Consultant staff members with an additional two <br />hours accounting for travel time. <br />2. Public events will be held in person/virtual and is assumed to be two hour in length and <br />will be attended by up to three Consultant staff members with an additional two hours <br />accounting for travel time. <br />Deliverables <br />1.
