• <br /> Plot-plan: All a-oplications for building permits <br /> shall be accompanied by a plot-plan duplicate drawn on scale, <br /> showing, the actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, <br /> the size, use and location of existing buildings and buildings <br /> to be erected, and such other information as ray be necessary <br /> to pro vide for the enforceaent of this ordinance . A. careful <br /> record of such application and plot-plans shall be kept in the <br /> office of the building, inspector or proper enfor care nt officisl. <br /> Section 18. -,aendrents. <br /> 1. The Commission may, from time to time , recommend <br /> certain changes in the text , boundary lines or zoning classifi- <br /> cation as set forth in this ordinance . <br /> 2 . The City Council nay, upon its awn motion or a t <br /> the suggestion of the Commission, amend, supplement or change <br /> the regulations herein established;and provided further , that <br /> if and in the event the only ohs nge desired is in the zone or <br /> district a s shown upon the Use cr .cirea Maps on file with the <br /> City Clerk, then and in that event it shall not be necessary <br /> to republish this ordinance , but only to publish a general <br /> statement as to the nature of the cha nge and the general area <br /> or district affected thereby. <br /> Section 19 . Completion end Restoration of existing <br /> Building s. <br /> Nothing herein contained shall require any change in <br /> the plans, construction, desigia ted or intended use of a build- <br /> ing, for which a building permit has heretofore been issued, <br /> or plans for which are now on file with the Building InTe ctor , <br /> and a permit for the erection of which is issled within one (1) <br /> month of the adoption of this or dinen ce end the construction of <br /> which in each case sfiiail have begun and been diligently <br /> prosecuted within one (1) month of the adoption of this ordinsnc:. , <br /> and which building shall be entirely completed a ccording to <br /> such plans es filed, within one (1) year from the adoption of <br /> this ordinance . <br /> Nothing in this ordinance shall prevent the restora- <br /> tion of a building within a period of one (1) year from the <br /> date of its destruction, which he s been partly destroyed by <br /> fire , or other cause, subsequent to the passage of this ordinanc - <br /> or prevent the continuance of the use of such buildings, or part <br /> thereof . <br /> ?he lawful use of the land existing at the tinE of the <br /> passim; of this ordinance, although such use does not conform <br /> to the provisions of this ordinance, ray be continued; but if <br /> such non-confo ruing use is discontinue d fora peri od of one(1) <br /> year or more , any further use of those lends and premises shall <br /> be in conformity with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> -18- <br />
