These <br /> comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments such as Utilities, Planning or Fire. All references refer to the 2015 International Building <br /> Code (IBC), 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> and/or Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) 2015 Edition, as adopted by the City of Everett, <br /> unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature <br /> and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the <br /> provisions of the building code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. <br /> 1. Provide building section specific to this structure showing how the roof structure is <br /> constructed, insulated and ventilated (provide ventilation calculations). The roof plan shows <br /> something extending beyond the exterior walls of the dwelling, provide detail to show how <br /> this is constructed. <br /> 2. Specify the material used for the walking surface of the roof-top deck. <br /> 3. Show how the roof deck is provided with a guard per section R312 IRC. <br /> 4. Show the construction, including attachment and height, of the parapet wall. <br /> 5. Unless roofs are sloped to drain over roof edges, roof drains shall be installed at each low <br /> point of the roof.
