City of Everett Water Treatment Facility Blower Building <br /> <br />Scope of Services 4 <br />2. Conducting topographic survey, locating underground utilities, and mapping area of <br />proposed new building site. <br />3. Analyzing security systems, door monitoring, camera, and smoke detection locations. <br />4. Analyzing existing blower control system and City desired improvements to integrate the <br />second blower. <br />5. Analyzing the current SCADA system for the blower. <br />6. Analyzing instrumentation requirements and locations. <br />7. Analyzing earthquake shut down systems. <br />8. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Perform ing QA/QC review of work products <br />generated during this task. <br />9. Prepare 60 percent design level specifications including table of contents, major material <br />specifications, construction constraints and sequence, and temporary facilities and <br />controls. <br />10. Prepare 60 percent design level opinion of probable construction cost. <br />11. Prepare preliminary construction schedule. <br />12. Submit 60 Percent Design Submittal including plans, specifications, opinion of probable <br />construction cost, and project schedule to the City for review. <br />13. One (1) site visit by one (1) BHC staff member during the design process as necessary <br />for investigation/confirmation of site conditions to support preparation of the 60 Percent <br />Design Submittal. <br />14. One (1) meeting (via MS Teams) with the City to review the 60 Percent Design Submittal <br />and discuss City review comments. BHC will prepare notes to document decisions. <br />Subtask 203 – Ninety-Five (95%) Percent Design: <br />1. Address 60 Percent Design Submittal City review comments. Prepare and submit a <br />Record of Comment to clearly address the resolution to each City review comment. <br />Record of Comment may include drawings with City review comments. <br />2. Prepare construction bid level drawings and specifications. <br />3. Perform a QA/QC review of the final design submittal to ensure all City comments have <br />been properly addressed. <br />4. Submit 95 Percent Design Submittal including plans, specifications, and opinion of <br />probable construction cost, and project schedule to the City for review. <br />Subtask 204 – Final Construction Bid Documents: <br />1. Address 95 Percent Design Submittal City review comments. Prepare and submit a <br />Record of Comment to clearly address the resolution to each City review comment. <br />Record of Comment may include drawings with City review comments. <br />2. Prepare construction bid level drawings and specifications. <br />3. Perform a QA/QC review of the final design submittal to ensure all City comments have <br />been properly addressed. <br />4. Prepare final opinion of probable construction cost. <br />5. Prepare updated project schedule. <br />6. Submit electronic copies of the signed Final Construction Bid Documents to the City. <br />City of Everett Responsibilities <br />1. Provide one (1) set of consolidated written comments on the BODR, 60 percent design <br />and 95 percent design submittals.
