City of Everett Water Treatment Facility Blower Building <br /> <br />Scope of Services 5 <br />2. Provide all geotechnical information the City has for the site and have the previous <br />geotechnical engineer provide 2018 and 2021 IBC seismic requirements and soil <br />bearing capacity at the new building site. <br />3. City to provide any specific requirements for specification of the pre -engineered metal <br />building to match the existing building. <br />4. City to provide security requirements and criteria. <br />5. City to provide requirements for the blower system control operations. <br />6. City will address SCADA modifications to accommodate the blower modifications outside <br />of this contract. <br />7. City to provide instrumentation requirements for the blowers. <br />8. Confirm the final submittal adequately addresses City comments on the 60 percent <br />design and 95 percent design and provide follow-up comments as needed. <br />9. Provide timely review of deliverables and responses to information requests. City <br />reviews shall be completed within two (2) weeks. <br />Assumptions and Meetings <br />1. Project specifications will utilize the 6-digit Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) <br />format and follow the format used in the Evergreen Pump Station Modifications <br />specifications. <br />2. No geotechnical investigation needed. All geotechnical services will be provided by the <br />City through their own geotechnical engineer or consultant. <br />3. Utility locates and surveying to be provided by subconsultants secured by and <br />contracted with BHC. <br />4. City and/or contractor to secure all necessary permits. <br />5. The plan set will include the following: <br />• General Sheets <br />• Civil Sheets <br />• Structural Sheets <br />• Mechanical Sheets <br />• Heating and Ventilation Sheets (no ductwork) <br />• Electrical and Controls Sheets <br />• Instrumentation Sheets <br />The preliminary sheet count is 33. The sheet count was used as a basis to develop the <br />budget. The preliminary sheet list is in Exhibit B. <br />6. Up to three (3) BHC staff members will meet with the City to review the 60 percent and <br />95 percent design submittals. Meetings will be via videoconference and up to one (1) <br />hour in duration. <br />7. Structural design shall include only the building foundation design. <br />8. Building requirements for a pre-engineered assembly shall be in a performance <br />specification. The contractor’s pre-engineered building supplier will design and construct <br />the pre-engineered building from this specification. <br />9. Permits to be secured by the contractor and/or the City . <br />10. Drainage Report is not required. <br />11. Construction stormwater permit is not required. <br />12. Site grading is not required. <br />13. Architectural design is not needed for this project.
