2.B. Provide a timeline plan for this project and include any City of Everett staff time
requirements. (cont.)
Consistent with City of Everett Responsibilities noted in the RFP (2.7), City staff time will be required for participating in the
kickoff meeting and check-in meetings at a frequency confirmed by the City during the kickoff (anticipated as potentially
bi-weekly), obtaining transit and fleet data, and reviewing the Draft, Final Draft, and Final Fleet Electrification Transition
Plan.
Having worked at local and state public agencies, and with transit agencies and operators of all sizes, our team will be
mindful to streamline the time required of City staff to the extent possible, while working collaboratively with City staff to
meet the priority project schedule.
2.C. How will we benefit from your approach?
Key benefits to the approach outlined in the preceding sections include:
• Our team covers all technical aspects of the modeling, analysis, and assessment elements with leading state of the
practice in most areas.
• The approach is designed so that technical teams and specialists focus on key Fleet Electrification Transition Plan
components that are advancing concurrently, while data sharing and cross-coordination is built in to optimize task
execution.
• We leverage deep expertise in each area and relevant experience, including in Washington state to add value
through analysis and recommendations informed by best and regionally relevant practices.
• Our team and coordination approach facilitates collaboration and enables us to meet the City’s schedule and hard
deadlines.
• Cutting edge BEV technology resources made accessible to Everett Transit. Our team’s services come with a one-
year (post-completion) limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to MGL’s EVOPT easy-to-use fleet transition
software package and training for Everett Transit staff, allowing our team to develop the plan and for Everett Transit
staff to conduct additional analyses and implementation support at later stages of the transition.
• GIS-based climate, emissions, and EV analysis tools complement core fleet modeling and allow for evaluation of
charging infrastructure against considerations such as climate hazards, resiliency, and equity of BEV service.
26
26
